Dr. Pamela Mitchell -Legg serves as the Sarah Belk Gambrell Professor of Christian Education at Union Presbyterian Semnary in Charlotte. She team teaches the course that produced the material on this blog with Dr. Rebecca Davis. Pamela has always loved Tokien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy and rereads it every year! A recent title that she loves is The Two Bobbies: A True Story of Hurricane Katrina, Friendship, and Survival by Kirby Larson, Mary Nethery and Jean Cassels.
Dr. Rebecca Davis serves as Assistant Professor of Religion at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Becky reports that as a child, she loved The Boxcar Children series. As Becky says, “They were a grand adventure for a kid who had never been anywhere other than West Virginia and Myrtle Beach!” Today is the Birthday of the World by Linda Heller is one of her favorite new books.
