During the summer months, we’re going to slow down our pace along with, we hope, yours! We’ll be posting new book reviews three times a week – generally Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you haven’t already, subscribe to our blog by clicking on the RSS feed button. It’s the orange button in the upper right hand corner of the first page. You’ll know immediately when new reviews have been posted.
Pamela Mitchell-Legg , who teaches the class that started this blog, has also started a new blog which will go live very soon relating feature films and theology. We’ll provide a link to that blog on this site when it is ready to go so be looking for it.
And we’ll be unveiling our new weekly post linking lectionary texts and children’s books on August 30. We have a Union-PSCE graduate hard at work this summer making connections with books and the themes of the four lectionary passages. We’ll introduce her in August, but for now, know that she loves preaching, children and books so you’ll find her contributions to this blog invaluable if you use the lectionary in your preaching and teaching.
